Joint sealing plates consist of a galvanized steel sheet that is covered with a special coating over the full surface area on both sides. Installation is quick and favourably priced. The special coating undergoes a composite action with the fresh concrete. This establishes an adhesive bond between the concrete and sealing plate that is very strong and durable. This results in a safe and permanent seal against pressing and non-pressing water. The Dichtfix has been tested up to a water column of up to 16m and is suitable for water exchange areas for sealing control and construction joints. This means that it is possible to use it in all the joint areas in the in-situ concrete. This prevents water and ground moisture from penetrating through joints in the case of impermeable concrete.
